The yeast infection rash is very troublesome. When I had my mammogram, the technician noticed mine and she gave me the best solution that works great for me. I had doctor's prescriptions and had tried everything under the sun and nothing seemed to work except this tip: she said to use coconut oil body lotion. I purchased Palmer's at Walmart but when I wanted more, it seemed they did not carry it any longer. I am sure you can order it online or locate it in a local pharmacy. It takes just a small amount.

Simple, wash the yeast infection area with apple cider vinegar when you shower. And then take 600 mg tablet of apple cider vinegar daily. It's the only thing I have found that actually works. I took the 7 day treatments of fluconazole, etc. It always came back before.

I am so raw under my breast with yeast infection. I have been to the doctor, and took oral medicine and medicine for application. I shower 2 to 3 times a day. I have used antifungal cream, I have used Vagisil powder and cream. I need to do something.

I had red, smelly, rash directly under breasts from yeast infection on my skin. My remedy was to apply 91 percent alcohol to a cloth, directly to the area, sleep with a cotton tank top tucked under my breasts. Place dry, cotton paper towel folded next to the skin under the breast and in front of the bra. I have large breasts that don't 'breathe.' This gives me immediate relief and within 12 hours, rash and smell are completely gone. Pay attention to great fitting bras, and keeping skin underneath the bra dry while sleeping. It remains moist otherwise with no way to breathe.

I've found that washing with Hibiclens liquid antibacterial skin cleanser works well for a yeast infection on skin. I use it in the shower and apply under my breasts, under my arms and in the groin area. I leave it there a couple of minutes before rinsing off. After drying my skin well I apply a combination steroid antifungal cream under my breasts. This has been a lifesaver for me.

I have had yeast infection most of my adult life. My dermatologist said that it's called inverse psoriasis. There is no cure. It is a lifelong battle. I used to shower once a day and used the hairdryer, then I used a powder like Mennen, a foot powder used by men. Way back in the day in 1980 my dermatologist gave me a dark yellow salve and it worked in 2 days. It was called Mycolog, only it's a cream now and when you sweat, it comes off. It doesn't work like it did.

I've tried many remedies, including prescription medication which worked for my yeast infection, but within days the rash would return. Good hygiene and keeping the areas as dry as possible, is a must. A friend told me to try applying antiperspirant (not deodorant) like unscented Secret or Sauve in solid form to the affected areas. This is a multi-daily ritual for me... the only thing that has stopped the misery.

I was wearing a sports bra that was too tight and it was rubbing under my breast. I ended up with a red rash, very painful, and it had a slight smell. Well I found out I had a yeast infection under my breast. I started putting some Monistat on it. The relief was so welcome! The rash is starting to go away. It works very well.

For me it is enough to diligently keep areas where skin touches skin dry, whether it's water from bathing or sweating, to prevent yeast infection on skin. Ideally a hot shower morning and at bedtime or before going out in the evening followed by thorough drying with towel and hairdryer followed by something absorbent such as powder and/or placement in trouble areas of dry absorbent materials such as washcloths, small towels or even paper towels. It should clear up overnight. Yeast won't grow in dry areas. If not kept dry diligently, there would be itching and/or rash; chemicals aren't necessary. Just keep the trouble areas dry.

I get occasional yeast rashes under my breasts or in the folds under my stomach as I am overweight and my stomach protrudes. After careful cleaning, I pat the area dry and then apply a generous layer of zinc oxide (Desitin). The rash is gone within a day or two.

I wish I knew more about prevention of yeast infection! When I have trouble (under breasts, tummy, etc.), I soak in a hot tub with tea tree soap. I prefer full strength Dr. Bronner's. After thorough drying, I apply tea tree oil diluted in a carrier (jojoba or olive oil). Usually it clears in a matter of days. I also diluted the Dr. Bronner's 50/50 with water for showering. If I do this daily, I can usually prevent infection.

Because of sweating and warmth under my breast and post-surgery of a groin site for an ovarian cyst operation, I have for years had flare ups of itching and rash under my breast. I treat it with Lotrimin Ultra cream, after cleaning the area. After applying the cream I cover it with sterile gauze to separate the skin from touching. I recently learned that diluted vinegar could also be used. I recently used that for cleaning prior to applying the cream. I'm not sure of the vinegar results. For several days I ignored the symptoms and today I have a situation that needs attention. I treated it with vinegar, cleaned the areas and applied the cream and gauze. I plan to eat some unsweetened yogurt to try internal treatment. First time for this but my yeast infection rash is serious.

I have a yeast infection on my upper right thigh. It was triangular in shape and about 3 inches in diameter. My doctor prescribed clotrimazole cream to be applied twice a day. It is working, but it takes a long time. You must be vigilant and keep applying the cream until it shrinks.
